Valeria Bonechi Rocha is an associate at Armesto & Asociados, a boutique of arbitrators founded by Juan Fernández-Armesto.
Valeria joined Armesto & Asociados in 2024, where she supports arbitral tribunals in arbitration proceedings, including international, ad hoc and administered arbitrations involving both commercial and investment disputes. Most cases are administered by ICC, ICSID, PCA and local arbitral institutions.
Before joining Armesto & Asociados, Valeria worked as an Assistant Legal Counsel at the Permanent Court of Arbitration (PCA) in The Hague, Netherlands, providing administrative and legal support to arbitral tribunals in investor-state and contract-based arbitration proceedings administered by the PCA (2022-2024). Before that, Valeria worked as an associate in the dispute resolution area of Von Wobeser in Mexico City, Mexico (2018-2021).
