Andrea Pastrana Ochoa is an associate at Armesto & Asociados, a boutique of arbitrators with an international and independent profile and a good business sense, founded by Juan Fernández-Armesto. Andrea joined Armesto & Asociados in 2023, where she supports arbitral tribunals in arbitration proceedings, including international, ad hoc and administered arbitrations involving both commercial and investment disputes. Before joining Armesto & Asociados, Andrea gained experience in the international arbitration team of Dechert (Paris) LLP. In 2021, she worked as Law Clerk in Colombia’s Council of State (highest court of contentious-administrative law). Previously, Andrea worked for two years in public procurement law at Colombia’s Financial Territory Development Bank (Findeter).

Andrea Pastrana Ochoa holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B.) from Universidad del Rosario in Bogotá (2013-2019). In 2020, she completed a post-graduate specialization in Administrative Law as well as a Graduate Diploma in Urban Law from the same University. In 2023, Andrea obtained a Master’s in Foreign Affairs in Comillas University – ICADE in Madrid, with a specialization in economics, politics, and international law.
